Lancers! Let’s get this year started!

My name is Victorieuse Sambao, though many of you may know me as Vicky, and I am so thrilled to serve as your UWSA President this year!

I’m in my fourth year of Law and Politics, minoring in French Studies, with the hope (a huge, genuine, and slightly desperate hope) of getting into law school!

For those who may not know me, I love being involved, staying connected, and finding ways to bring people together. Outside of student leadership, I love volleyball, both beach and indoor, and I enjoy unwinding through painting, baking, and writing poetry. As the eldest daughter of four, you could probably call me an overachiever, but at the heart of everything I do is a passion for community, fairness, opportunity, and making campus life more exciting and supportive.

This year, I want the UWSA to be for the students, with the students, and by the students. My door is always open, so please never hesitate to reach out. And whenever I can, I will do my best to come to you first!
