I would bring a perspective to student governance rooted in accessibility, empathy, and action. As a student at the University of Windsor, I have experienced financial and transportation barriers that limited my participation in campus life. There were times I did not know what resources were available or how to access them, and I had to navigate those challenges on my own. That experience drives me to ensure other students do not face the same obstacles alone.
I am connected to my faculty community and have been involved in student groups and research teams, where I developed collaboration, communication, and advocacy skills. These experiences showed me that many students share concerns about affordability, awareness, and belonging. I want students to feel informed, supported, and represented by someone who understands their realities and is committed to making campus life more inclusive and accessible.

The most important issues facing students are affordability, mental health, and campus life. Many students struggle with the cost of tuition, transportation, and daily expenses, which limits their ability to fully participate in university life. I would advocate for more affordable or free events by reviewing and reallocating student funds within the University of Windsor Students' Alliance to prioritize accessible programming and essential supports.
Mental health is equally critical. Although services exist, students may feel unaware or hesitant to seek help. I would push for more engaging, stigma-free events that promote mental health resources in welcoming spaces, helping students feel supported and understood. I would actively gather student feedback, bring concerns forward in meetings, and ensure transparency in decision-making to drive meaningful change.
-
I would approach accountability and transparency with consistent communication and openness. Students deserve to know how decisions are made and how their fees are used. I would share regular updates through social media, forums, and clear summaries of key decisions within the University of Windsor Students' Alliance so information is accessible and easy to understand.
To ensure fair decision-making, I would actively seek student input through surveys, conversations, and collaboration with student groups. I would remain approachable and responsive so concerns are heard. Every decision would be guided by equity, ethics, and students’ best interests, ensuring all communities feel represented and respected.

Student governance should actively shape the student experience at the University of Windsor by ensuring student voices directly influence decisions that affect campus life. It should act as a bridge between students and administration, advocating for policies that improve affordability, mental health supports, and inclusivity.
Effective student leadership means listening first, communicating clearly, and making decisions that reflect students’ real needs. Leaders should be approachable, transparent, and focused on practical outcomes that students can see and feel.
I want to be part of this work because I understand the challenges many students face, from financial barriers to feeling disconnected. I hope to contribute stronger communication, equitable advocacy, and initiatives that make campus life more accessible and welcoming for all students.
