If you are unsure which society you are a member of, you may login to SIS (Student Information System) and select “View your account details”. A fee called “Dept’l Society” will be listed, and if you click on the dollar amount it will tell you which society you are paying student fees to. If you have any questions feel free to contact the Student Groups Coordinator at clubs@uwindsor.ca.
The University of Windsor Archaeology Society is for those interested in that field of study. The primary focus is on the Classical and Medieval World, but the club is truly for anyone who has an interest in archaeological studies.

The Commerce Society is a student run body that each business student is a member of. The 15 executive members run this society for all of the business students and promote school life by hosting various events throughout the year. Our office is located in the Odette school of business lobby and we are always there to answer any questions or concerns.

The University of Windsor Computer Science Society (CSS) is a group dedicated to spreading interest in Computer Science.

The objective of Club SODA is to promote interest, and further understanding and involvement in all areas of dramatic studies, including performance, education, technical production, and community. Club SODA acts as a representative body to the students in the School of Dramatic Art. This organization is responsible for advocating for students’ needs on school council for program areas that lay under the umbrella of the School of Dramatic Arts. These programs include: BFA Acting, Drama in Education and the Community, and Bachelor of Arts Honours/General. Throughout the year Club SODA organizes events, and promotes and fosters programs that encourage growth, development, enjoyment, and communication amongst all program areas.

The aims of the Education Society are to represent the needs and interests of all Bachelor of Education students at the University of Windsor; act as a liaison between the faculty and students and inform students of rights and responsibilities in events such as political protests.

The Engineering Student Society is comprised of all undergraduate engineering students. Its objectives include:
- To cultivate the spirit of mutual assistance among the members
-To serve as a medium of communication between members of the society and the governing bodies of the University, the UWSA, or any other recognized society

– To promote interest and to foster high standards in the engineering profession and education
– To supervise all committees, sub-committees, clubs and societies which are associated with the society

Everyone student enrolled in Kinesiology is a part of the Human Kinetics Society. The Human Kinetics Society encourages friendships and a sense of community among our students by providing opportunities for professional and career development, social exchange, and athletic and academic interaction. The Music Society is dedicated to planning social events for students from the School of Music, sitting on academic commitees for the enhancement of our learning environment and providing support for students in all of their musical pursuits. The Music Society is also responsible for many organizational and administrative duties within the School of Music.

The objectives of the University of Windsor Social Science Society are:
• To provide official representation for Social Science students in all matters affecting their interests as University of Windsor students.
• To acknowledge the diverse intellectual, cultural, and social elements of the student body through the promotion of social events and activities for Social Science students.
• To act as a communicative medium between the Social Science Departments, all member students, and the University community.
• To provide requested financial support to member students and clubs.

The Social Work Student Association (SWSA) is a student society which seeks to represent, support and advocate for Bachelor of Social Work Students at the University of Windsor, Ontario. SWSA acts as a link between students and faculty in order to ensure that students’ voices are represented in the School of Social Work. The association seeks to promote social justice and to enrich the community.

The Students’ Law Society represents the interests of law students and provides services to law students. The SLS oversees all law school clubs and committees and also play a role on the school’s faculty council. The object of the Visual Arts Society is to:
• Facilitate communication between Student and Faculty.
• Promote and facilitate Visual Arts at UWin as a whole.

It’s membership is open to all students registered for instruction at the University of Windsor under the Visual Arts program Combined Majors.
