The Peer Support Centre will be hosting a Death Café on the main campus of the University of Windsor. Join us on Thursday, October 25th from 5-7pm in Dillon Hall, Room 350. Death Café was founded by Jon Underwood based on the work of Bernard Crettaz. A Death Café aims to bring people together over cake and tea to openly discuss death.
The objective of Death Café is to “increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives” (Deathcafe.com). We will be providing delicious cake and tea as we create a space to openly talk about and discuss death. Please note this is not a bereavement/grief support resource.
This event is free and open to everyone. Please RSVP your attendance via e-mail at: firstname.lastname@example.org if you are planning to attend the event. Please also let us know if there are any accommodation requests.
